Out of the box i got this cube very loose, but there is no way of tensioning it, so because of that it pops a lot. I got a huge explosion where half of the cube was al over the room and i had to search for them all. It performs pretty bad in my opinion, it locks up all the time, is very loud and it feels like you are always dragging pieces around. For the price I feel like this cube is way overpriced: it has terrible stickers (extra set is included), it is only available in the pillowed version and the pieces have a lot of flash on them. The plastic is very hard, weighs quite a bit, gets dirty really fast and does not respond to lube at all.
Overall not recommended, you can get way better 7x7's for a cheaper price.

This was the first 7x7 I owned.  It was very sluggish at first, but after breaking in and lubing it sped right up.  The biggest issue with this cube is the popping.  I could barely get through one solve without a piece flying out.  There was also no way of tightening the version that I had.  I do not know if this has changed, but the screw behind the center piece did not change the tension at all.  Other than that it was a good cube, but I could not bare all of the pops.
