The FangYuan puts Shengshou back in the a place where it is a viable "main" option. The feeling is very similar to that of the GTS v1 from MoYu. The cube is light and scratchy. The stability is nice not being too flexible but just enough to allow a full range of corner cutting.

For this price you are getting a cube that has the same performance as flagship 3x3's (Minimal lockups, over 45 degrees of corner cutting, line-to-line reverse cutting).
When you get it out of the box it is very fast so i would recommend putting some Traxxas 50K in it or other heavy lube.
The cube has a scratchy feel and feels very solid. Just like other flagship cubes it doesn't pop, and corner cuts very well.
It is around the same price as a Thunderclap V1 but it is better in my opinion because it has squared off corners. And the same performance.
The only drawback to this cube is that you can get cubes like the MF3RS or the Warrior W that are even cheaper and get the same performance. But you can say this about almost any cube because budget cubes are basically the same as flagship's.
I have given it a 4 star rating instead of 5 because you can get the same performance with cheaper cubes. But it is my main and a great cube.
