Decent 7x7 altogether. It's decently fast and breaks in well. It definitely takes time to get this cube to main potential. After breaking in/tensioning/lubing this cube can be really good for accurate turners. Corner cutting could be better, but i don't expect much out of a 7x7. Locks aren't super common as long as you're reasonable with what you're doing. although the the lack of reverse corner cutting makes some lockups unavoidable. Popping isn't super common, although if you try and cut forward too far it does pop. This is generally just one piece and it's an easy thing to fix. Still haven't gotten an explosion. Corner twisting on this would be an accomplishment.
Overall:
Solid 7x7. Smaller size is definitely better for me and could help people with smaller hands. It just needs to be broken in and set up well. I'd recommend this for accurate turners and people who are willing to put in the time to set this cube up well.

The ShengShou Mini 7x7 is a really great cube. The turning is relatively fast, and it has a crunchy yet smooth feel. It's how you'd expect a cube with so many pieces to turn. I rated the corner cutting average, not because it is bad or anything, just because it is once again, what you'd expect from such a large cube. It cuts about a cubie on inner and outer layers, and near nothing reverse. Locking happens sometimes, although not that often, as does popping. I often do get pops when solving this cube, but that is probably because of my rougher turning style. The mini size is excellent, however. I have tried normal 7x7s before, and this one fits so much nicer in my hands. This is generally a really good 7x7, and considered the best on the market by many people. It has its flaws, but for now it's about as good as it gets.

I got this cube after getting rid of my full size 7x7. This cube feel minuscule compared to the full size. because of the small size I was able to turn the pieces faster (although I do think the cube it self moves more easily too). In the end I modded it with DaYan springs which made the outer faces super fast, but I couldn't get the internals to feel the same way. I would way currently this is the best 7x7 on the market. It is very difficult to pop and turns very well.
