After solving a few times the cyclone boys 4x4 cube is very good! not speed cubing good but anyone wanting to learn how to solve a 4x4 this would be a good one! I've never had any corner twist or popping (yet) but locking is pretty common 
but a great cube for begginers

Don't buy this cube. Very stable but locks up a lot and pops when going too fast. Just get a YuXin 4x4.

The outside layers of this cube are really smooth while the inside are very rough.  This feels like a broken in Shengshou but with sand on the inner layers.  There are very little holes in the corners of the pieces allowing for very minimal corner cutting.

the Cyclone Boys 4x4 stickerless is a good cube but not the best

the reason for this is it is a fast cube but it can barely cornercut locking is rare but bad if it locks you need to try to twist ALOT before it unlocks corner twisting happens very of when trying for a sped solve i've only had one pop in the 1 1|2 mounths that i had it but a very good cube for your first 4x4 puzzle cube on amazon only $12 USD very good for price would recomend
