When you first get this cube out of the box, it feels like everything about the cube is worse than everything you have ever tried. After about 50 solves, you should start to feel the difference in the amount of lockups, and the speed of the cube. When it gets to the point where you would be able to use it in a competition, take it apart, change the springs to dayan springs, lube it, put it back together, and you will have a way better cube. While it will still lockup a bit, it will be so much better.
