Overall a really great cube for the advanced speedcuber but not so much for those in the beginners to intermediate range. Though this puzzle is very fast and stable, those who are just starting out will have a harder time taming its speed. The Aolong GT has a very pleasant feeling and is much smoother compared to its predecessor the Aolong V2. Implementing the squared off corners was a good choice on Moyu's part, effectively removing the chance of getting corner twists the Aolong V2 was prone to. Though it does have improved features from the v2, it's not necessarily suitable for all skill levels. I'd say the Aolong GT is a great 3x3 for those in the sub 20s range looking to advance.

I got this cube because I had a Tanglong and I wanted something fasted for when I was having a good day and I wasn't screwing up much. The drastic difference between these cubes is very understated. The GT is very fast and incredibly smooth. Out of box it was very locky but if the tensions are tightened slightly to where it only corner cuts 45 the corner lockups go down a lot. Over all for beginners this cube will be way too fast, I solve close to 30 seconds now and once in a while the cube is still to fast for me. Pops will also never occur, even out of box when it was very loose I had trouble removing pieces because there are 2 complete sets of tracks and torpedoes. Overall I recommend this cube to anyone looking for a fast and smooth cube, for controllable and quite I would however recommend the Tanglong.

When I first received this cube, I was so surprised that this cube perform very well. The only weakness of this cube are the locking issue. I feel a little bit laggy when I playing this cube but that was not the problem . Corner Twists never occurs no matter how you force it . I change the old sticker scheme to my own sticker scheme because I really don't like the AoLong GT sticker scheme, I wonder why moyu company change it. In conclusion, this cube does not feel like TangLong or AoLong v2 . It has it own feeling that I very like it. I broke my PB now ! You Should Buy it!

Unboxing of Moyu Aolong V3, Aolong GT.
Aolong GT is the fast the cube I've ever used. Until now, Dayan Zhanchi, untensionned Cyclone boys and the lubed Aolong V2 were the fastest cube I've tried. Between about 40 cubes that I've tried, this is one of the last. This cube is more controllable than Zhanchi, but is still uncontrollable. It cornercuts about 50 degrees and reverse cornercuts about 30 degrees, which is the same as Gan's 356. Although you have to tension it a lot because of it's explosions (at least, if you are a inaccurate turner) there are no lockups. I can't describe the feeling: the closest feeling is the cyclone boys Feiyu. All I can say is that this feeling is unique.
Lots of people don't like the color scheme of this puzzle (Dark), but me, personally, think that its better than the original one. I think its because I use Gans 356 as my main.
THE MAIN PRO of this cube is that it's FAST. Sometimes, its speed makes me think that I forgot to do one move. While doing the H perm, my fingers keep on sliding off to my palm because of the force I give
THE MAIN CON of this cube is that it's LOUD. The spring sound is pretty annoying and you can definitely not play in class.
Overall, it's a good cube, but I don't think that a cuber can use this as a main. The feeling may displease you.
This is my first review, so feel free to put comments or critiques, thank you.
